Dungelot - There's no way I can describe this game any better than the dev, so here it is: "Dungelot is a fun casual roguelike that plays almost like a strategic Advent Calendar. Oh, and it has support for the XBox 360 pad! ģ. Nitronic Rush - Developed by students at DigiPen, this "survival driving game" features everything you'd expect in a 90's-styled racer: pretty impressive (if slightly busy) neon graphics, a thumping (bass heavy) soundtrack, stunts, abilities (such as boost and wings) achievements, and both story and arcade modes. The time limit adds to the frenetic fun, as you race around an arcade, playing 80's style machines in an effort to eradicate a virus. Totally Tiny Arcade - I *love* this game! But then, I grew up in the arcades when these games (well, actually the games they are parodying) were available. Here are some geat freebies (in no particular order):ġ. Please feel free to add your own favorites, as long as they are LEGAL (no "abandonware " these must come from the devs). ![]() WIth that in mind, I recently started going on a bit of a Freebie hunt, and found some real gems (there are tons of legitimate, free games out there, but not all of them are worth playing, imo). GoG offers some great freebies, but I'd like to see newer (free) games from Indie devs (such as "Treasure Adventure Game," on GoG). ![]()
